AI In The Banking Industry :
Artificial intelligence, also known as natural language processing (NLP), is being used by the branch to automate document processing, analysis, and customer service activities. Three applications include:
1. Intelligent Document Search — Search relevant information from a large number of scanned documents.
2. Investment Analysis - Regular analysis of earnings reports and news so that analysts can focus on alpha generation.
3. Customer Service and Insight- Using chat box to rapidly resolve customer curiosities.
There are many examples of how banks are using AI to increase their efficiency, but let's first understand what the natural language of processing is capable of.
